We are right in the centre of Canazei, directly on the Sella Ronda.
From here you can discover Val di Fassa by using the transport facilities you prefer: by skiing, riding a bike or enjoying the amazing surroundings while taking a walk.
You can leave your car in our private parking area. On foot you can easily reach the best local restaurants, the supermarket, placed right opposite our house, and the new Aquatic Centre and Spa Dolaondes.

We will take care of your holiday by making it as pleasant as possible in the same way in which we take care of our apartmens, comfortably furnished and bright. We will welcome you in the best friendly way, preserving and granting your privacy at the same time. Your pets are welcome too.

The Ladin Culture plays a key role in the culture of the Alps. Together with archaic features, the Ladin culture was deeply influenced by different contacts with other people’s languages and cultures in a context which is conservative and dynamic at the same time. These changes and influences can be traced not only in the Ladin language spoken by the locals but also in the signs placed along the trails and the streets which are bilingual, in Italian and Ladin. The Ladin language is even taught in schools and it is used as official language in all public documents thanks to a long process of defense and improvement of the local culture.

RESTAURANTS

To discover the Dolomites implies a travel around the flavours of the local Ladin cooking. Similar to the Trentino’s one, the Ladin cuisine is deeply influenced by the South-Tyrolean one where milk, butter and local cheeses are at the basis of almost all the typical dishes. You can taste the “lucanica” homemade sausages, the gulasch, a spicy stew or soup, the “canederli” special bread dumplings served in broth or with a lettuce salade, the “strangola preti”, small vegetable dumplings and the “Spätzle”, a kind of soft egg noodle. Game and trout fished in the local rivers and lakes are also very refined ingredients of the Ladin cuisine. And to digest, what about trying a “grappa” made of officinal plants and herbs? Traditional recipes are jealously preserved and generally handed down from one generation to another in the ancient inns of the valley or in the huts at altitude but you can also taste a more innovative and refined cuisine in the famous Michelin-starred restaurants.

Taking a walk in town to do some shopping could be the best way to relax and find some nice souvenirs to bring back home. You can find local cheeses and tasty cold cuts of the traditional gastronomy or some wooden handicrafts carved by the craftsmen of the valley that will remind you of your holidays in the Dolomites. Many are also the sports shops and those where to buy typical Tyrolean-style clothes.
